Infrastructure networks are built on stations and hubs. We support our clients in their acquisition of the right sites based on their own criteria, a process known as site acquisition. Dualtec will locate the ideal site for any infrastructure network, regardless of whether the network requires GSM, UMTS or LTE (4G) base stations, LoRa stations, PoP stations or energy network stations. This allows us to assist our clients in the upgrade or expansion of their networks.
We advise our clients (operators as well as contractors) on the acquisition of strategic sites. We also do scouting, conduct technical surveys and arrange contracts and permits with landlords (site owners or management). We coordinate the installation of equipment, manage the sites and ensure that all parties maintain in contact and observe all contract covenants. When required, we work in close cooperation with the legal departments of our clients and arrange licenses and authorisations that may be required by local authorities and licensing agencies.
We always complete projects as efficiently as possible within the set KPIs and deadlines. Projects and processes are monitored by our “ProFlow” infrastructure project software. This allows us to report on the progress of all aspects of projects in real time, regardless of our location.
We are exceptionally proud of our contributions to the rollout of the KPN, Tele2 and T-Mobile 4G networks. Dualtec was responsible for tailoring the previously-mentioned upgrade of a large number of sites to suit all landlords and other stakeholders.
Another achievement is our involvement in the rollout of KPN B.V.’s LoRa network (for the IoT – Internet of Things). Here, we were responsible for project management and the fine-tuning of contracts for technical upgrades to networking sites in consultation with all landlords and other parties involved.
We handled acquisition of the CDMA network on behalf of Alliander. Here, we were responsible for tailoring the project to suit all site landlords and other stakeholders, for installing new systems and for modifying existing systems, including new antenna setups.
